Here are a few applications I can’t live without.


In another life, I did tech support and I would have loved this tool in my arsenal back then. Demonstrating how to do something step by step is so much easier than describing it to someone. 

Loom can be used as a video screen capture tool, an audio recorder or as a combo of both.



Canva lets you create logos, ads, graphics, pamphlets, social media posts and more. It is highly intuitive. Canva features an easy to use interface and a straightforward workflow.

My favourite thing?  It’s portability. During what could have been a boring wait for the car to be serviced I was able to turn out quite a few Instagram posts to be scheduled for later.



ClickUp is my favourite project management and communications tool. It integrates with the tools you are already using like Trello, Asana, Airtable and more. 

It has multiple price points so you can try it out before committing to adding it to your tech stack. ClickUp allows you to assign tasks to team members, track dependencies to prevent bottlenecks, it's a lifesaver!


YouTubeYouTube is your friend. There are so many great how-to videos on all of the tools above and many others. An excellent go to when looking to find out how to do something quickly.


Teleprompter Mirror

I've been working with one of my clients on a podcast. Such a great experience! We've found this to be a great online tool to organize our scripts and keep us on track when recording our audio. Just go o to the Teleprompter Mirror website, paste your script into the text box, adjust the font size and speed, and press the play button. No more rustling papers or losing your place in your script!
